Church Connections

Below is a list of ways Christ Hamilton reaches out to our local

​and global communities.

Community Meals--Every month Christ Hamilton provides a free meal to the community.
Gluco Lodge--Christ Hamilton's social outreach committee plays bingo once a month with the residents of
Gluco Lodge.  They also make Christmas and Easter bags every year for the residents.
Hospice House--yearly benevolence
Lamb's Wool Knitters--Christ Hamilton's knitting group creates beautiful homemade sweaters for
children that are provided local and shipped globally to those in need.
Medical Supply Collection--Christ Hamilton collects new or gently used medical equipment that can be
then be donated to anyone in need in the community
P.A.T.H. (Pocono Area Transitional Houseing)--yearly benevolence
Pocono Mission District--yearly benevolence
P.V.E.N. (Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network)--Christ Hamilton collects non-perishable
food, hygiene items and clothes for PVEN, they also give a yearly benevolence.
Pill Bottle Collection--Christ Hamilton collects clean, label-free pill bottles that are shipped globally to 
communities in need.
Quilting Group--the Christ Hamilton quilting groups provides beautiful handmade quilts to local
non-profits including PATH.
Snydersville Diner--The Snydersville Diner will graciously take 10% of a Christ Hamilton member's bill and
give it back to the church!
St. James Evangelical Church in Philadelphia--Christ Hamilton partner's with St. James by providing benevolence
to their homeless ministry.
World Vision--yearly benevolence
NEPA Synod--yearly benevolence
ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Churches in America)--yearly benevolence for new seminarians​
